I always say how much I love all of my couples and families, because I do! This line of work has blessed me with soooo many opportunities to capture some of the most intimate and beautiful moments while doing something that I am very passionate about. But this one, this one was extra special! Nyla is my oldest and dearest friend from when I grew up in Iowa, and being able to capture her with her husband Moses and their impossibly adorable son Ellis in Des Moines, Iowa, I felt beyond lucky!

Ellis completely and totally stole the show! He has such a calm and curious energy - no fusses, just poses. And those cheeks - the ones on the top and the bottom eeeeeek!

Nyla and Moses were so elegant and natural, I always knew they were a good looking couple but they made it translate effortlessly for the camera. This was a session I wish lasted forever and is one my favorite and proudest shoots I’ve done! Happiness and good vibes always make for the best albums!
